Tonight we were out with five people and the community to distribute food, toiletries and other important items to our guests again. Gerd drove the car and then took care of handing out tissues and lipcare, while Ina handed out hot drinks. Maya and Judith diligently distributed a huge mountain of pastries and croissants, which went down very well with the guests. Towels and scarves were also in great demand - in the end almost everything was distributed. Of course, the hot food from the muslim community was also very popular again! Although it started to rain at some point, this did nothing to dampen the crowds. The demand was high and at some point the hot food was empty while some guests were still waiting; luckily we were able to fall back on the emergency 5-minute terrines in the car!
